LULULEMON IN MOVEMENTs movement to wear bright colors and to be more active on social media is a good thing, but not everyone is in love with its sleek, minimalist style.
The yoga-inspired clothing company announced Thursday that it is launching a limited-edition line of yoga pants and accessories inspired by the “belly-up” movement, a way to “move the body more deeply into our own bodies.”
The brand’s new range will be available exclusively online starting at noon EST, the company said in a statement.
“When you’re in yoga, the first thing you notice is the fact that the body feels like it’s a whole new place,” Lululemen founder and chief creative officer Matt Raskin said in the statement.
“Our mission is to transform that feeling into something that will make your body feel good.”
Lululeman also plans to introduce a limited edition yoga cap in March that will include the brand’s logo and the words “Move The Body,” Raskins statement said.
The yoga pants were designed by Lulululemons designers as a way for women to feel more active while also looking stylish.
It’s important to note that the brand will not be selling the pants online, as that would be considered illegal.
The brand plans to launch a website to showcase its range of yoga pant styles in the fall, and will begin selling them at Lululumen stores in the coming months.
